DESCRIPTION: Client in SF area is looking for an RN
for GI lab, GI lab experience is preferred but not a must.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree may be considered given the number of years of experience and background
- Bachelor’s in nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse, RN license
- Must have 1 year of acute care experience
- Must be able to do IV insertion, conscious sedation
- BLS and ACLS certification are required
DIRECTOR

TITLE: OR director / Director of Surgical Services
TYPE: Perm Position
LOCATION: West Valley Area
DESCRIPTION: Surgical facility in the West Valley area
is looking for a Director of Surgical Services. The selected candidate will have the knowledge and expertise to work within a borderless environment,
allowing one to run the department without internal barriers. It will oversee administrative responsibility for all Operating Room services,
including Perioperative Services, Ambulatory surgical services, and surgical support/sterile processing, PACU, and Outpatient Surgery. In collaboration
with other leaders, staff, and physicians, the OR director/Director of Surgical Services will determine the appropriate delivery of care model(s)
for patient care services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic and cost-effective patient care practices.
- Assures that the departmental Performance Improvement program(s) meet the surgical clinics’, external accreditation, regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Actively participates in and leads multi performance improvement process teams to facilitate continuous process improvement and facilitate intra and inter unit/department problem solving and planning.
- Collaborates with Human Resources for recruitment, selection or retention of staff for assigned departments and/or services, to assure sufficient effective human resources.
- Develops a financial management plan for the department including operational, supply and capital budgets.
- In conjunction with team members, supervises the use of staff, materials and supplies to comply with budget.
- In conjunction with team members, communicates fiscal expectations for the department and hospital (including monthly and annual goals, updates on department performance, variances and necessary fiscal adjustments) to managers, staff and physicians.
- Participates in policy, procedure, and strategic planning development, administration, and evaluation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree may be considered given the number of years of experience and background
- Bachelor’s in nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse, RN license
- CNOR certification is a plus
- Must have 3 years of current clinical experience in surgical services
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of current management experience
- BLS and ACLS certification are required
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills
